§ 60.5840b — b Does This Subpart Directly Affect Egu Owners Or Operators In My State?

(a) This subpart does not directly affect EGU owners or operators in your State, except as provided in § 60.5710b(b). However, affected EGU owners or operators must comply with the State plan that a State develops to implement the emission guidelines contained in this subpart.

(b) If a State does not submit a State plan to implement and enforce the standards of performance contained in this subpart by May 11, 2026, or the EPA disapproves State plan, the EPA will implement and enforce a Federal plan, as provided in § 60.5720b, applicable to each affected EGU within the State.
