Unless waived under § 153.491, Category B and C NLS cargo tanks on each ship built after June 30, 1986 must have stripping quantities determined under § 153.1604 that are less than—

(a) 0.15 m

3 if Category B; and

(b) 0.35 m

3 if Category C.
